PMS post surgery

Anyone still prone to PMS-ing after surgery? When I have my surgery done I will still have one ovary left, does this mean that I will still have PMS and bloating?

If you keep your ovary or ovaries, it's possible to still have PMS because you will still have a cycle.

Many women notice a decrease in their symptoms after a hyster because the cyclical bleeding and all that entails is gone.

I used to gain quite a bit of water weight before my cycle and get a lower backache during it, and those are now gone.

I do still get cyclical acne (not bad) and sore breasts. I've been using progesterone cream and it really helps with the sore breasts.

Take care.

I don't really get sore breasts, but MAN do I get OMS. Oddly enough, the past couple months I've been getting that after my period, not before. What's up with that anyway? Thanks for your answer. My doctor told me that she didn't know, and if I can convince myself that I won't have PMS then I won't. Ok, then, I am also going to wish I was 10 pounds lighter and rich! I'll let you know how that works out.
