Dryness is not the problem
I'm about 2 and 1/2 years out from my hyster. I am currently battling no sex drive. When DH and I do have sex I feel too wet, the opposite of what everyone else seems to be saying. DH brought up recently that too much wetness causes a loss of sensation for him.
You can use products to help with dryness, but I've never heard of anything to make it drier.
It so strange no sex drive but too wet!

Dryness is not the problem
Hi Regina~
My sister and I just had this conversation. She was interpreting a Dr. visit where this problem came up and she asked if I’d heard of it. I have seen posts about it, but, unfortunately, not much in the way of solutions. (BTW -The patient’s privacy was maintained – only the discussion was shared) Anyway…The Dr. she was interpreting for said he’d heard of antihistamines helping somewhat – but unless you have another reason to be taking them, not recommended. Might try to douche with plain water occasionally to see if that helps. Overall, felt what is the safest and simplest is to keep a thin washcloth or box of (product free) tissues by the bedside, gently insert and remove, wiping away the excess moisture.
I can see why it would be bothersome for you and DH. Have you asked your own physician for suggestions about this? I hope there is a solution for you.
Sending s,
Beth

hormones!
Hi Sisters,
I found that after my doctor prescribed a very low dose of premerin (estrogen) my sex drive returned full force. Now, with the excessive wetness I have not found a remedy. During sex it becomes a problem, even if I use a tissue before foreplay. I even accused my partner of having had an orgasm without telling me (boy was my face red!) But it was kind of funny (smile) Any more suggestions?
