Please stop asking me .....

I know people are concerned but I never realised how many friends I had till every single one of them start asking about the OP .... arrgghhh ....

I am trying to avoid being asked cause I really do not want to think or talk about it.... but when people do ask I feel bad having to tell them I don't want to talk about it ,,, cause they are asking because they are concerned ..... uuurrrgggghhhhhh ...

Am I going mad ??? !!!! The waiting is bad enough ... but the constant questions too .....

Wish I had kept all this a secret ..

Stressed but Blessed .... J

Please stop asking me .....

Hi Neighbour!

I kept it quiet for that very reason ... I just didn't want anyone talking about it or asking me questions. I just find it easier to handle it that way.

Told my husband though ... well I had to!

Good luck for the 18th. If you're in the south, which hospital?

<oops! Please do not mention specific hospitals on public message boards to protect your security> Shame you have to travel for your op ... I'm sure they could've transferred you to the Royal Gwent?

No you are not going mad!
I know what you are saying. I tried to keep my sx from people as long as I could, but I eventually had to tell family members because i have 2 DS 4 & 6 and I need help with them after the sx.
My MIL is the one given he most trouble, as she decided to tell a distant cousin. MIL then says "you don't mind if I told Candy?" To which I reply well, actually I do seeing as I never even talk to her and it's not really her business. She says well she's in the businees. (shje is an ultra sound tech.)
MIL proceeds to ask me things that she askedmy MIL like why does she wantto go and do that so young?
Like i Volunteered for it. She then tells me well C said they don't just do that for pain and bleeding. MIL knows minimal info as it is so she is trying to fish for more by asking via someone alse.
I simply tell her what I will tell anyone else who starts with the questions.
This was not a decision that we (DH &I) made lightly. This has been a 3 almost 4 year saga that has resulted in this difficult decision. I also say and honestly I don't feel the need to explain my self or my decison to other people wh ohave no idea what I have ben through so please respect my wishes and don't discuss it.
I know it is hard to tell people that but they need to respect your right as a person to handle it in a way that works for you.
If they are uncomfortable with that, let them work it out.

Please stop asking me .....

HI Girls, I understand how you all feel. but for me I did not mind talking to people about it and all my freinds knew that I was suffering with constant pain for a long time so they pretty much knew that sooner or later I was going to have to do something about it. so I did not mind talking about it. and now even 19days post op I don't mind when freinds ask questions. I have a few freinds that are having female problems and think that they might have to have the surgery one day . so they ask how bad it was , Ihow I feel now and what they did to me. and I figure if they are going to ask then I will tell them about it.but I do belive that if you want to keep it private than you should be able to it is your choice . and people should just understand if you don't want to talk about it.so if that is how you feel than they should respect your wishes and not hound you with alot of questions. good luck and take care, Cathy
