two weeks post op......hardest part of recovery

I'm board!!! I feel fine but can't do anything its driving me crazy!

My doctors words "Put it this way......you bust your stitches inside your bladder will drop and back to surgery you go"

Last night I couldn't take it anymore so I stupidly went down and started wrestling with my 75 pound pit bull "Herbie"... he enjoyed the play session but I felt something in my stomache and had to quit.

TAH on May 3rd. Verticle incision 27 staples. Left ovaries took uterous due to multiple fibroids took cervix.

Your doctor has given very good advice. Perhaps it would be better if you simply took Herbie for a nice, long walk. It's much safer. It's been said here many times before, you have only one chance to heal right, and this is it.
