MD office troubles

Has anyone else experienced doctor's office "employee problems"? I visited a new doctor a couple of weeks ago after many years of trouble; heavy bleeding, pressure, 2 periods monthly, etc. She suggested an ultrasound and doing a biopsy due to endometrial cells in my last pap (9 months prior, and no one called me).
I have since called the office because I had more questions about my abnormal pap. I can only be "put through" to the nurse's voice mail. She (nurse) never returns my call.
After my ultrasound yesterday, I was told the DOCTOR would be calling me today. No call, again I call the office and get put through to a voice mail. I've called twice today (left messages) and no one returns my call.
My doctor said after the tests we will discuss which route to take, uterine ablation or hyst. But it seems the office receptionists "screens" the calls. I promise I leave very sweet messages. I do not sound like a nut. Maybe I should???

If I were u, I think I'd find a new doc...u should be able to rely on them to address all your concerns in a timely manner. I wouldn't want to depend on that kind of service if I had an emergency situation.
Or make an appt. with the doc specifically to discuss all this with him in person...maybe he would "straighten out his employees?"

I had a difficult time getting through to my doctor for a while until they realized that I was not giving up. Now I do get my calls returned. It is such a pain! If you don't or can't get a new doctor, be aggressive in making sure you get your needs met.
