3 months post op....sharp pains

I am 3 months post op and today have had 2 very sharp pains way down in pelvic area. What is this and what can it be? It really comes and goes really fast. But it is such a sharp pain. The first one was on the right , I had another one an hour or so later more towards the middle or closer to the left.

still feeling pain

the pain is still around, sometimes like a burning , and sometimes a stabbing pain, around the scar area. I go back to Dr in July, or earlier if this keeps up.

3 months post op....sharp pains

Hi Sweetpea2h,

I'm sorry you are having pains. Are these new or have they been going on a while? I had some really bad stabbing ones start up around my 3rd post op month and I feared by endo was returning... but later found out it was a bladder infection starting up. It wasn't until the pains became more midline and low that I recognized them to be coming from my bladder. They were like lightening bolts and really hurt!

Do you think yours could possibly be from your bladder? Drinking lots of water is always a good idea, so maybe see if that helps. Also.... mine were worse when I'd let my bladder get really full and distended. Although I didn't have burning with urination at that point, I did notice I had more of those pains after emptying my bladder when I'd allowed it to get so full. So you might also try emptying your bladder more frequently or seeing if there is any relationship.

Don't know if that's what you might be experiencing or not but thought I'd share what mine was.

If you think it might be bladder don't hesitate to call your doctor to get it checked.

Hope the pains go away soon.
s,
Beth
