Estrogen patch?

At my pre-op appointment the Dr said I would have an estrogen patch on when I came out of surgery. Can anyone who is on the other side let me know this is working for you and if you "like" it.. I would appreciated it. Thanks
Penny

Estrogen patch?

I like mine- estrogen is my friend, It keeps me living in the same house with my loving family----LOL
I tried several before I found one I could tolerate, so keep tabs with your doc about your general well being, until you find one that works for you

Estrogen patch?

Hi Penny!

I use a hormone patch. Mine is Vivelle Dot. It's a bio-identical estrogen (estradiol) patch which is changed twice a week. I've been using it almost two months now and love it!

Since my surgery over three years ago I have also used Estratest HS, Tri-Est pills and then Bi-est cream. This patch is my favorite!

I hope you are as successful with yours!

Estrogen patch?

I started out with the Climara patch right after surgery and loved it, but had an allergic reaction to the adhesive. Now I am using the Vivelle Dot patch and have done great with it. It is bio identical, just like the Climara and is changed twice weekly (the Climara is just once a week). HRT is a trial and error process, which you will find out soon, and you just have to see what works best for you. Goodluck with your surgery!

Jackie
