18 hours and I`m off to the Castle

Hi Ladies,
I`m in the counting down stage ,18 hours until I`m off to the Castle. OH MY GOD, what to do with myself, nervous !!! Can`t sleep and smoking like crazy ( I know bad , very bad!! ) Having TVH 2-21-01 checking in at 6:00 am sugery at 8:00. Oh how I`m looking forward to this being over !! I keep telling myself how wonderful life will be after recovery . Well just thought I would blow off some time and update where I`m at. I will be sure to let everyone know how things go.

Hi Dharma13,just to let you know that I will be praying for you:> I know your worried! I am toooo! My wonderful time for visiting the castle will be 3-20-01 9:00 AM.for a TAHBSO actually it will be my second time! I went in 8-13-00 to have an overy removed it was filled with fluid,to the point of eruption. Just a few weeks ago I felt a lump in my tummy only to find out it was the same thing. Just the opposite side! So my friend your not alone at all ! Oh one more thing I quit smoking three weeks today cold turkey! It,s been pretty easy this time.Best of luck to you and I will be thinking of you in the early a.m. you will be just fine!!!!!!!!! HUGS KT38

It will all be over soon. In a few days you'll be back at home, sipping tea and recovering in comfort. Is your room ready? Relax, breathe and don't forget to rest. I'll say what all of the sisters say,"You have only one chance to heal right." Recheck your list for the castle. Let us know how it all comes out pardon the pun.

Speaking from my own experience, waiting truly is the hardest part. You'll be just fine! I can remember the nerves kicking in, but I couldn't smoke for 24 hours prior to surgery......that was hard!! :hair: I kept a positive attitude though, and everything was smooth sailing! I wish you the very best of luck!!! Soon you'll be a !!!

We are all in your corner and sending you lots of (((hugs))) and prayers. My visit to the castle is 2/22 so I'm right there with you (nerves and all!!):hair: I know all will go well and we'll be sharing our stories on the other side in just a few days. Keep the faith!
