TAH/BSO - Only when I laugh

I did it, its all over, and now the reality is starting to sink in fast, and oh boy do I mean fast: I had surgery on Tuesday, May 17th, and returned home on Thursday, May 19th.... Fortunately, all of my nurses were greeeeeeat!!!. I truly had no idea just how much pain I would or could endure.. so far most of my days are filled with my family, and friends trying to make me laugh, and Ive told them PLEASE STOP MAKING JOKES, BECAUSE IT HURTS THE MOST "ONLY WHEN I LAUGH".... however, my nights are awful because I just cant seem to rest without my back hurting or my stomach feeling as though its caving in.... anyway my sisters God bless you all for your prayers, as I have been doing for you all.. and maybe someone can tell me just how long their pain has lasted, although we all endure pain for differently.
