Joint and Muscle aches

Carol, I had problems with the fishy burps at first. I was taking all my supplements together. I started taking my Vitamin C at lunchtime and everything else morning and night. No more fish taste. And, I feel a whole lot better now.
Good luck!

Joint and Muscle aches

I was just taking a multivitamin with my calcium and thought this was enough. I just read the label on the MVs and they only have 100 mg or 25% of the RDA of magnesium. From what I'm reading here, that isn't enough, correct?

Joint and Muscle aches

My Dr told me to take 1200 mg/day of Cal/Mag. That is the name of the product. That gives me 1200 mg of Calcium and 600 mg of Magnesium.

I take a multi-vitamin (w/o iron) and I take Flax Seed oil instead of Fish oil for my Omega 3.

I am also taking a multi vit/mineral (OTC) but family doc has prescribed a Calcium / D (needed for proper absorption of calcium) supplement 600 mg twice daily. I use flax oil also because couldn't stand the fishy uprising!! I have an appt today because my cholesterol is way high so I am going to ask about the magnesium. I also take a b-complex (OTC) but only twice a week. I do try to get good foods into me but can't always guarentee I am getting my needed vit. supplies.
