Yikes!! They changed my date It's closer

Well I get myself all hyped up for this surgery thinking I have two weeks and one day and what do they do? Call me up and tell me its two days earlier! So today for some reason, this has all struck me as being real. I have officially lost my mind in the past half hour. Not only that I find that I am now up for a series of test, EKG, CT, IVP, Blood work and more blood work along with the nice (yeah right) vaginal ultrasound I had yesterday. I have DUB and hopefully the US found the problem. It might be due to the fact that my endo wall is thick on one side, I know there is a name for it but it left with my brain. Tomorrow is my pre-op. I do get to see my Doc and have already asked him a million questions and I have 1/2 million more. I get to have a pap too! I have been poked at, pricked and proded so much lately. This site is the only thing that saves my sanity. Even if no one reads what I write I can vent LOL I am so glad I'm not alone in this {{{{Sisters}}}}} Keeping all of us in my prayers

I had a vaginal ultrasound too and it hurt!
I wonder if they all do or just for people with multiple cysts on their ovaires like me!

Hi Dremmie,

It is alot to absorb, but that's great, you have less time to wait than you thought. Good luck on all the test, once they are out of the way, just try to calm down and relax. You will be a soon.

With all the excitement I forgot to add my date LOL March 6th and it was March 8th. Amazing what two days can do to brain Thanks for the responses !

It's probably not the two days, but all the activity that's got you all hyped. I suddenly had four days notice and wow, that sure put everything in gear. (I had to cancel my dentist and hair appointments!!)

BTW, not all transvaginal ultrasounds hurt. The last one I had was done by a female technician who was so amazingly gentle I wondered why everybody else I've had acts like they have a poker in their hand.

I'm sure you'll do great, good luck, and don't wear yourself out!!

Hi Dremmie, We are now on for the same day. I have to be at the hospital at 7:00, surgery at 8:30. I am ready to get mine over with. You now just have two less days to wait. I'll be thinking of you (until the drugs kick in) on the 6th. Pop back in and let us know how you're doing after. I plan to be back in as soon as I feel good enough to sit at the computer.

I did notice that you and I had the same date. Mine is not scheduled until 1:00pm Think you could give me a call when you come out of surgery LOL I have to be there at 10:00 am Because I have high BP they want to do another EKG before I go into surgery. I was in a few months ago for an emergency D &C and Transfusion and that 2 hours before surgery went so fast. I just hope they knock me out. I was thinking of taking my laptop but for some reason I dont think I will feel like getting online but I will be back as soon as I return from the castle. Best wishes and God Bless
