surgery moved up?

ack - has this happened to anyone else?

I was scheduled for June 6, we got a message at home that they want to reschedule to Friday June 3.

But then the person we need to talk to was out today...boy my work is going to love it if I come in tomorrow and tell them, surprise, it's my last day today!

I just PM'ed to a buddy that I am starting to think it would be easier if someone just snuck up behind me and conked me on the head with a mallet - then I would wake up and it would be over.

No more of this anticipation nonsense...

at least most of my to-do list is complete...my DH's list of course is another matter. Maybe now he'll listen to my lectures about leaving everything til the last minute!

surgery moved up?

Hi,
Maybe you should be happy that you will get this all over with sooner. I am scheduled for June 6th for a SAH. I was originally scheduled for March 14th and it had to be cancelled because I had an abscess in a tooth. The tooth was removed. Now I am just concerned about picking up something so that I won't be able to get this done. I am a substitute teacher and have not worked in two weeks because everyone is sick in the schools. At least it sounds like you are ready for it. I hope all goes well for you. You know there is an expression, "we plan, G-d laughs". It is really the truth.
Take care.

Sincerely,
Amy

surgery moved up?

You're probably right. The sooner I get this over with the better...especially if the alternative is waiting another month.

yipes!

as one of my co-workers said, "3 days closer to being able to golf again!"

thanks for your good wishes, same to you. I'm sorry you had that tooth issue...what bad timing!

I hear you on the colds/flu thing. I have been paranoid the last week or two at work cause everyone seems to be coughing...but schools are the worst!

All my best wishes to you for June 6!

Thanks for your good wishes. I especially like your friend's thoughts about returning to your golf sooner. That is probably the best way to go into this surgery. If you have something positive to look forward to it should make everything easier.
Just think about the fact that by this time next week you should probably be home and healing.

Hopefully, I will be in the hospital out of recovery and thinking it wasn't that bad but who knows. Let's have good thoughts and keep in touch.

Teefully yours,( a little pun for a golfer?) (My brother is a golfer)

Amy
