Super OP Saturday June 4th

Hey ladies, it's the weekend and I RARELY ever get to start the daily thread so here I am! I am off to some yard sales shortly after my breakfast of an egg with a slice of toast and some coffee, lunch will be a salad of some kind and dinner is yet to be determined. Snacks will be yogurt and strawberries. Yum! I hope to get a walk in today with DH for a change. Tomorrow will be a long day of walking as we have plans to visit an outdoor shopping area. I hope you all have a super OP Saturday!

Super OP Saturday June 4th

Well, Emily, looks like the East Coast is up and runnin' here! Guess everyone else is getting their Saturday morning snooze!

Had my traditional 1/2 Portuguese roll, cran juice and coffee for breakfast. Then Dad called and said he'd just love to go out for chili hot dogs--well, how could I say no? I think it's great that an 87-year-old makes plans for a project or outing each day -- and is he ever OP! Exercise, mostly low-fat low-salt diet, very little red meat, lots of fiber...so anyway, it's chili dogs for lunch. Wouldn't have had that roll for breakfast if I'd known about those hot dogs and their starchy rolls, but oh well....

I'm out to dinner this evening with a friend to celebrate 1)her new job and 2)her good results from a D&C, so I'll go easy and have a salad.

Tomorrow I head out to visit a friend for a few days so I probably won't be posting after tomorrow until Wed eve or Thursday.

Hope everyone has a great OP day--all the BEST!

Blessings.

Super OP Saturday June 4th

hi!

Been busy today, getting uniforms ironed and hung up ready for Monday

Had pate on toast for breakfast, a ham roll and a packet of crisps for lunch, and dinner will be ?? Whatever DH wants when he comes home.

Had my friends kids for a couple of hours today, as she' had concrete delivered, to lay in her garden. After they went back with their kids, we had a phonecall, to say that her 3 yo son had walked over the freshly laid concrete drive! (eek!) I bet there were murders in her house! Her DH was supposed to be watching kids while she cooked lunch!

Exercise was a good long walk with dogs, and 4.1 miles on exercise bike. I'm behind already this week, better double up a couple of days to catch up

Gotta run, DH home from working, looking for a cup of tea!
lol lol. You know what it's like.........tara for now!

Super OP Saturday June 4th

Hi BEST Friends

Just checking in to say I still alive and kicking. I am again using the neighbors computer. No time to read back this week to catch up. My computer guy promises he will be over tomorrow to fix mine. I hope so, otherwise will have to take it into a shop and that will be big bucks for sure.

Wishing all you the best and a wonderful weekend. I'm not OP this past 2 or 3 days - very swollen up from salts....need to be more mindful. Just craving salty things for some reason.

Take care and hopefully by tomorrow night I'll see you all on MY computer! LOL - keep your fingers crossed.

Miss you all terriably -
Melissa

Super OP Saturday June 4th

Hi Everyone...

Just back from the gym & my 1st appt with the personal trainer... she's a great listener and developed a beginning set of exercises for me to work on for the next 2 weeks... and highlighted classes that I would be able to do as well. My 1st goal is to loose 10 pounds in 2 months... which is really reasonable & doable. I'll be scheduling the gym in my calendar so I make sure that I take time to make the most of this opportunity.

Food today has been good... had a whole wheat bagel w/ very little cream cheese and coffee for breakfast. Just had a kashi bar for a snack and will go out to get a salad in a little while.

We're tackling projects today... I want to clear up household filing & do a thorough cleaning in the den... Also want to find some time to do some reading today as well.

Well... hoping everyone enjoys this wonderful weekend (all weekends are wonderful in my book )

TaTa....

Super OP Saturday June 4th

Hi Emily, Marlene, Fran, Melissa & Sue and all to follow,

I'm in a funk today so I decided to clean house. Why waste a bad mood? I also took a walk but it is so hot here I left Gypsy at home. Looks like summer has arrived.

Food today has been good. A banana for breakfast and a salad for lunch. I think dinner is going to be grilled shrimp.

Take care,

Llyn
