Yes!
Yes hon. I agree. We are all too young for this. But, chin up! If your doc refuses to do the surgery, get a second, third, fourth opinion if necessary. This is your body! You know what is wrong and what is right! Don't take no for an answer.
Now, I am not saying go in there and act like Bladder Zilla....just tell the doc that you are tired of it interfering with your life! You had a hyster to repair other problems and to make life better. Now, you need this done. Do what I did once. Ask the doctor, in no uncertain terms, if this was his/her problem, would they want to seek relief? If the doc heehaws on an answer, go into graphic detail about what you are experiencing. More often than not, the doc will be willing to listen.
Dang, I sound like a tyrant! I am not...I just got tired of not being listened to because of my youth. I was 29 when I had my hyster, and I am on my way to having my bladder fixed also. Not that I want another surgery...but I do understand what you are saying. You aren't alone here. We are all here to support you!!!
 's to you!

pain during intercourse
Kynurse:
I am only 35 (33 at the time of my hyst) and I had a bladder prolapse. My doctor performed a Burch procedure during my surgery. I felt that it was better to go ahead and get everything done at once. I'm SO much happier now. I can actually sneeze and cough now without wetting my pants. I totally agree - if your doc won't agree to fix the problem - get a second or third oipinion.
