1 year hysterversary
Hello ladies...today is my one year hysterversary. I feel better than I have in years and my hysterectomy is fast becoming a distant memory. Having the hyst was absolutely the best thing I've ever done for myself.

1 year hysterversary
Thanks for the update, being almost 4 months out I think almost daily "I can't wait for the 1 year mark" I think that will make me feel a lot better about my recovery... which has been fine so far.

1 year hysterversary
My one year hyterversary is a week from today and I feel marvelous. In fact I have just recently begun to notice a change in the way my body looks. It seems I am beginning to really get a girlish figure back instead of the huge swollen stomach out front. I can actually see my scar in the mirror because there is no huge pouch out front!!!!
My doctor took me off estrogen May 20 and so far so good. I am feeling great! It has also been a great year. My friends were talking to me a few weeks ago and they complimented me on my attitude, disposition and said I seemed like an entirely different person. You know what, I am. I didn't know how poorly I felt until I had my hyster!! I have had a quality life for a year now. I think I had felt crummy for years and didn't even know it.
My hubby and I joke that I had my witch mechanism taken out!!
Anyway, Happy Hysterversary everyone!!

Life is full once again
Congratulations! I am celebrating my 1 year hyster anniversary also! It was one of the best things I have ever done for myself. I feel like a new woman & am full of life again! I feel 10 years younger & am actually able to play basketball with my teenagers. I tell any woman who is contemplating getting a hyst. to "go for it" it changed my life for the better. My life is full once again. I am able to enjoy life, my hubby (wink - wink) & 4 children.

1 year hysterversary
Patti,
Congrats on your hysterversary as well!! I agree with you 100% about feeling 10 years younger. I have 6 kids (yours, mine and ours) and just wish I hadn't but the kids through all the crud they had to experience. Had I known that the hyster was the answer to the problem I would have had one years ago, except our little guy who just turned 13 wouldn't have probably been here. Anyway, life is good so Happy Hysterversary Sister!!
