Rectal bleeding

Hey sisters! I posted this yesterday, but with a different subject, because I was embarrassed, so I'm going all out right now because I really need some feedback. My appt is at 10:45. I'm having lower back pain and rectal bleeding, for about two weeks now. One sister, and my mom, think its hemorroids, which I hope to god, if it has to be anything. I'm scared it could be my endo coming back--i had it ALL OVER my colon/intestines. Has anyone had experience with this? I'm trying to calm down, but I'm scared. Very scared. The other thing is, I always, all my life, but especially with the endo, had constipation. Since my hyst that's no longer a problem. So if the bleeding isn't from straining, what could it be from? I know this is gross and probably TMI, but I needed some help from you sisters that have possibly been through this. Will I need more surgery???????

Sorry, I don't have any experience with Endo. I did have a bit of bleeding, smears really, from a small hemorroid I've carried around for 24 years...

I hope all goes well at your appointment and will look for your post when you get back online.

update:

Just got back from the doctor. Colonoscopy in two weeks. No hemmroids or polyps found during exam. They say it's probably just IBS--put me on Zelnorm. I don't know about that, but we'll see. Thanks for all of your support. I'm sure it will be fine! I worry for nothing sometimes.

I had rectal bleeding also, but before my surgery. I only had it though 2 days before my period and 2-3 days after. Went and saw a gastroenterologist and he said it was VERY rare for it to be the endo all the way through the bowel wall and he had never seen that happen except for in text books. So chances are good that it is just the IBS. He said he would do the colonoscopy looking for possible IBS or colitis type things.
Unfortuneutly I turned out to be the rare one and I DID have the endo in inside the bowel wall. This is not to scare you further of course. Just to let you know what mine was.
I stress this is RARE!!!!! So you probably have nothing to worry about. But keep us updated ok??? Tiffany
