Cool - Sunny Sunday! 19 Jun Sunny Sunday! 19 Jun

Morning All!

Today is a very warm day, yesterday was toooo hot! I worked yesterday morning, then I went to the shops, as I'd finished cleaning and defrosting my freezer, so I had to fill it back up again.
I've been running the frozen stuff down, so it could be near enough empty to clean it out. My SIL gave it to us, when she moved out of her house, into the pub she runs, it's meant to be frost free, but it aint! I'll be buying a new matching tall fridge and freezer later in the year, as it doesn't look like Llyn's husband will be buying one for me!

Shopping went great, I bought tons of fruit and salad stuff, loads of ham, chiclen ready roasted with lemon pepper, and turkey ham, which I had up MILs last week, and really enjoyed!

Breakfast ~ banana on wholemeal toast
Lunch ~ turkey ham and tomato sandwich
Dinner ~ chicken with a bit of salad

DH and DDs are off to 'party in the park' its a concert in Singleton Park, Swansea, and it's only £9 and money raised goes to 'Cash for kids' a local kids charity. They get some big names there every year, and DD is just about old enough to last a day, it's from 12.00 -11.30pm. DH says he'll stay until 8ish!

I'm having a day to myself, having a good clean, and hopefully a trip to the gym!

Gotta go, DD is raiding the fridge and I need her to have a good breakfast this morning!

Have a great day y'all!

Sunny Sunday it is. Finally the sun has made an appearence.

Fran: How nice to have the day to yourself.

Llyn: on 3 lbs lost. Good for you!!!

Marl: Nice job on only visiting the buffet line once. Not easy!!!

Em: I too am trying to have an OP weekend. We can do this!!!

I am feeling much better today. I guess the stress of the week just caught up to me yesterday. I pretty much spent the day in bed.

Off to the grocery store this morning then probably work out in the yard.
Breakfast scrambled egg with v-8 juice
Lunch: salad with feta cheese
Dinner: yet to be determined. Maybe something cooked on the grill. Snacks will be fruit and yogurt.

Have a great OP day ladies!!!!

Good morning Fran, Val and all to come,

Fran, let me know when you want to go appliance shopping and I'll send DH over .

It's a sunny day here as well and I must do some much neglected yard work. Hey it's exercise and I always drink a lot of water when I'm working outside.

Val you are right we can stay OP on the weekends. Yesterday I had tuna & swiss cheese on toast for brunch and while we ate out for dinner I only ate half of my entree. I'm glad you are feeling better.

I'm not sure what food will be today as I haven't been to the grocery yet. I'll have to try the detox drink tomorrow.

Have a great day girls,

Llyn

Hi best sisters...

Fran - when I was little, I lived in Swansea - Massachusetts, that is!

I won't be around for posts for a bit...things have really crashed here at my house. Dh is not home for father's day & does not plan on being home on Tues for our annivaersary. (sorry if this is TMI for BEST)

I already have planned to go to the Quilt Festival on Wed-Sat, stay in a dorm, go to workshops and the show. Lots of walking, but college cafeteria food...which is usually good, lots of salads, but also many tempting things, like desserts.

The only good thing is, I'm not hungry...otherwise I fear it would be a big emotional pig-out.

sign me confused

Hi ladies!! Slept in today........ a rarity for me. Had a huge breakfast or sort of brunch to celebrate Father's Day with DH since my kids are not home this weekend. Will eat lite for lunch and dinner. May go to the movies tonight but will I not have any buttered We will be taking a nice walk later on. I am having a hard time raising my pulse rate lately no matter how hard I push myself. Am I just that used to exercising or is that the reason I cannot burn off any pounds or inches? What do you guys think? Don't forget to drink up ladies! Water, that is!

s bliss!!!!!!!! Love ya!

Emily

Happy Father's Day out there to all the DH's and sons who are dads!
