I AM PASSING GAS BUT NOTHING ELSE AND I HAVE NO APPETITE - HAVE LOST NEARLY 15 POUNDS SINCE MY SURGERY 6 DAYS AGO - IS THIS NORMAL?

I too have 0 appetite and have lost more weight than I could afford. My dr was concerned with how thin I was before my surgery so obviously now she is all over me. Im lean by nature. 17 yrs of gymnastics and marathon runner. I hope to god once I heal I become myself again. I was pretty sick before my surgery so that was the cause of the initial weight loss, now it has only got worse.

I would suggest you talk to your dr and let him/her know

Hi...My surgery was 6/6/2005. It was about 6-7 days before I had a bm and I had to use an fleet enema (only1/2 of one) before I finally had one. It wasn't pleasant but, I felt much better later.
If you keep having trouble...call your doctor.
