self-check reveals something

Dear Sisters: It's been two years since my hyst. This site was wonderful at helping me get through all the pre-op and post-op problems.
I did a self-check on the area where I think my uterus used to be, and there's something there that I'm not sure should be there. I'm wondering: could it be scar tissue, a polyp, or possibly I've found the sling the doctor used for my bladder? Just wondering if anyone else has had this situation. Thanks in advance for your help. Sincerely, Aunt May

It could be any of those things----not sure exactly where you're referring to. If it's something you've never noticed before, it would probably be prudent to have your doc check it out for reassurance. Best wishes!
