Hey,It's Back to work for this sister!!

Well ladies, had my Ist week back to work and other than a couple hours of "getting back into the swing of things" again, the transition was smooth.On the cement floors 8 hours, running around doing this and that,bending,stretching,lifting,while wearing hot,bulky equipment around mid section all day was a BIG concern I had in the back of my mind but I had no problem,what so ever with any aspect of the job.I had feared the combination of the equipment weight and the heat/sweat factor would become a problem and irritate the incision ;( and wear me out quickly..And It was so HOT and humid this week,we sweat like FARM ANIMALS...... I had sweat rings under my boob's that showed thru the uniform!Too funny....We all had a good laugh,,


At night Had a little problem with insomnia often on ,but thats nothing new--Have had that for years. Many co worker commented of how well I looked.

I feel very "balanced" I guess is the word.

I LOVE this site.I have told two other women at work who are contemplating hysterectomys how much support and knowledge is avilable here.

Snowbird, I'm so happy for you! I'm going back to work in two weeks and I can't wait!
