Skin problems anyone?

Ever since my hysterectomy (kept ovaries) I've noticed some skin issues that I haven't had before. I've always had oily skin but now it is incredibly oily. It is driving me crazy. I also am very itchy all the time all over. The skin on my face is not breaking out but it feels all bumpy.

Just wondering if these kind of things are happening to anyone else. Do you think it is due to the hysterectomy?

Skin problems anyone?

Hi Eager

I’ve had a problem two weeks post op. It started a week before I was due for my period. My skin was very oily, very bumpy and tender, but only on my face and chest. It has settled down now but it is still not as good as before the op. I put it down to my body being run down. I hope it does not happen next month.

Take care Iva

Skin problems anyone?

I have also noticed a difference in the skin on my face. Like you, I've always had oily skin, but now even more so.
My face is broken out right now with several bumps, which I never had before.

Skin problems anyone?

Hey Girls,
I also had problems with my skin, the first week after surgery my back had a huge breakout and more on my face than usual.During my second week it all cleared up and I haven't had any other problems. The brain fog is still here for now, I'm at 5 weeks today, every week seems to get better. Just remember to take it easy, eat good, walk and drink lots of water.
Wishing you all a smooth recovery
