great to be home!
its good to be home from the castle. it's been 4 days now, i got home yesterday, july 2nd. the surgery went well. a football size uterus and a twisted ovary was removed. i had no problems (& i'm 50 years old) with the surgery or anesthesia. they gave me a morophine drip that made me nauseated and the walls were jumping, after i told my surgeon, she had them disconnect the morophine and put me on percocet. i instanlty felt better. i'm very swollen and sore but in other ways i fell better already. i get up every 2 hours and walk around my house and do the breathing exercises. my incision was closed with a new derma glue, so no stitches or staples. it is water proof. my incision has not hurt at all. the glue disolves on it's now, i'm very please with this. can't sit here long because of the soreness but wanted to tell my systers that the anxiety of the wait it the hardest part. it's a relief to get it over with. good luck to all you ladies in waiting......dottie
