White jeans

Heard on the TV show, Living for Life, on Monday that the new fashion trend coming from Europe (France?) is white jeans -- all seasons.
Although I'm still not sure I want to see my bootie and belly in white jeans, I felt rather liberated as I thought, "I could wear those now. My hystersisters can all wear those now!"

Pleasant thought. Keep thinking it while my belly swells and I'm constipated. LOL

I worked in a nursing home for 10 years and we had to wear white pants/skirts/shorts during some of my worst bleeding times. Even though I don't have to put up with that anymore I won't wear white ever again! LOL I did buy tan and light gray though!

After my surgery, I went out and bought a new pair of casual white trousers, a pair of white capris, and a pair of nearly-white "dressy" trousers. First time in ages that I would have felt comfortable doing such a thing! And they're so perfect for spring/summer.

One of my very first purchases post op for summer was a pair of white shorts. How very liberating not to have to wear black when it is 110 outside!

Hey newscat. I just got back on line today and was sad to see our thread had been closed "week and a half til surgery". How are you feeling? How is the recovery going? Did you ladies start a new thread?

Ironically, today was my first day back to work after my visit to the Castle, and I wore white slacks!!

Try this for fall......Chocolate brown top or sweater with your white jeans then add a bit of color with your accessories ( Turq. blue bag looks great ) .
Looks sooo chic and no need to ask your DH to " check the back of your jeans " anymore!
Can't wait!!!

It is so much fun to wash the white clothes and have sparkling white undies! I haven't seen that in years! And, my favorite capri pants are white...along with the light pastels! Life is good! No more black pants! Woooohoooo!

I am still rather new ( 5 weeks post op) and haven't fully comprehended the fact that aunt flo is no longer visiting me I wore white capri's the other day and realized that it's been so long since I wore white pants that I don't know how to keep them clean....was covered in stains by the end of the day
