Leg cramps

Need some advise! ! ! !

I started on Cenestin .3 and was told I could increase to .6 if I thought I needed to, and I did so. The last several weeks, maybe about time I increased to .6 due to moods and anxiety, my left calf aches most of the time. Also, I broke my ankle in November of last year 4 months before my surgery, and now it is hurting worse, and causing pain.

Do you think that the leg cramps and ankle pain is due to too much or too little estrogen?? In the article too much too little, joint pain is not shown on estrogen. Any help???

Leg cramps

HI Linda

When I was using Cenestin I had very bad cramps in the calves of my legs. The doctor said this can be a side effect of some estrogen. I switched to estradiol and did not have any problems with leg cramps. Here is a link that shows possible side effects from cenestin and leg pain is listed as something to discuss with your doctor.

side effects

I'm not really sure about the broken ankle pain.

Troubled Tabby -

Thanks for the response. I didn't know that it was one of the side effects of Cenestin. I think I'll try to hang on for a while longer, then call the doc if intolerable. Knowing helps a lot.

Thanks again.

Linda
