ok i need a lil help from some sisters, it has been 1 month since i had a total hysterectomy and i hear a lot of women say they have no pain well i still have a lil pain right in the center of my stomach at the bottom and i wonder is it because i might not be healing to well on the inside, or is it just that my body needs more time to heal? i go back to the dr. on the 18th for my first visit since i had the surgery, i don't want to be a nag, so if anyone have and suggestions be share them with me.

Hi, beegoldwalk, I think a little pain is normal at 1 month. I am almost 3 months postop and I still have a little pain. We all heal differently. I do think that if you are worried or concerned that you should call your dr. I am sending you a big . Best wishes on your recovery. Carol

It Has Been That Long For Me Also. My Next Dr. Appointment Is On The 19th. I Still Get The Twangs And Twitches Of Pain In That Area Also, After I Had Been Standing And Walking Too Long And Sometimes While I Am Just Resting.

It silll hurts for me too after a month - sometimes it's a general ache, others it twinges. Sometimes there are these deep pains from inside as well. It's all, as I understand it, part of the healing process.
