Home sweet Home

I am home from the hospital now. I am so happy to be home now. The doctor said I did really good. That's why I got to home home so early. I was in surgery for about 2 hours yesterday. I came home about 1pm today. I couldn't be more happy.
love ya all

Welcome back. I'm glad everything went okay with you. Take care and don't do too much. It sounds like you are doing very well but you still must take it easy.

Sammi,
Glad to hear you are doing well. I am two weeks post op myself and it has been smooth sailing for me as well. It is hard to behave, but I have been able to take it easy and take naps even though I felt I didnt need one. I think it really helps you heal quickly to let your body rest and be nourished even when you are so surprised to feel so good......so enjoy the process and take care of yourself.......

I think I might have slept to much today because I can't now. I feel so great right now. I thought I was going to be in pain and wouldn't want to move, but I was wrong. I was in more pain before the surgery then I am now. Waiting really is the hard part. I have to call the doctor tomorrow and go see him in two weeks. I also go him to write a RX out for gum to help me stop smoking. I'm going to really help myself out here. I know my husband will be happy because he's a nonsmoker.
Love you all,
Sammi

Sammi,
Are you as surprised as I am as to how good you feel right now? I thought it was going to be much worse. Also, like you, I had so much pain before surgery that the pain I'm feeling now is really no big deal. As a matter of fact, I'm mostly controlling the discomfort with ibuprofen. I have the "big guns" handy if I need, it but for now the ibuprofen is working just fine.

I am shocked at how well I feel. I never thought I would feel this good after a big surgery like this. I am taking the meds the doctor wrote out. Not just for the pain, but it also helps me sleep. I have been having a hard time sleep, but not with this stuff. It knocks me right out. I am just happy that I can say it's over and done with now. I wont have to worry about it anymore. The one thing I'm not going to miss is my period every month I know that. My husband said he's happy about that part too. Now he don't have to go out and buy pads or tampons anymore. I told him till our daughter gets older. He just gave me a look lol.
Thank you all you have been more help then you could ever know.
Sammi
