internal stitches

I am six weeks post-op and have noticed stitches coming out after I unrinate. Is this normal?
Also I have had severe abdominal cramps, 3 or 4 times and it only lasts about 15 to 30 seconds, any ideas?

PS I see my Dr. on Monday.

I was told by my DR that I was going to start seeing stitches when I go to the bathroom at about 5-6 weeks, everything inside is healing, and the stitches fall out as everything heals. As for the pain, that's something i'd talk with your DR about, it could be that you're doing to much and your body's telling you to slow down...
