5 weeks oh hell! whats happening?

Had a lavh/bso 5 weeks ago, things were going just fine then last night I started to bleed, not heavy but enough to scare me. This morning it has turned to a brownish discharge. I've also got a heavy feeling in my lower tum, don't know if i've overdone things a bits. Has anyone else had an experience similar. Any input will help. Sorry if you have already read this I posted it in wrong place eariler. Hazel.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. It does sound like you probably over did it but I you may want to call the doctor and let him/her know just in case. Good luck, take it easy for a bit!

Aimee

5 weeks oh hell! whats happening?

im also 5 weeks. i went to doc monday for check up. he gave me the green light to do WHATEVER i wanted to.
i too had discharge. brown and lots of it. i would lay down the night b4 and get up in the morning and it would pour out of me. he said everything was fine.
so my hubby and i had sex last night and wow and the bleeding . was like a heavy period.
now we did do it 2 weeks after my surgery too. the doc said it was fine as long as i had no infection, and he didnt find anything wrong.
but that one time we did it and then stopped until last night.
I didnt hurt b4 when we did. but last night was so painful and the bleeding was bad.
best thing u can do is call the doctor and let them tell u or maybe check u.
good luck and hope u get well soon.

Thanks for answering, ill give my doctor a call 2morrow. It seems to have stopped now thank goodness, its all so scary can't wait till I'm back to normal. It sort of takes over you life completely, hope it turns out to be worth it.
Love Hazel.

Hazel,
Ya know I feel the same way - about it taking over your life. I do wholeheartedly think it will be worth it for me, but yes! not a day goes by that I don't think of the surgery and it has been like that since the day I decided to have it done. I am sure as the further we get from it the better it will be but for now there is just so much to think about so that we don't further hurt ourselves or send ourselves into a major setback. Another realization is that I will now have a "new normal" nothing will ever be the way it was before. Some of it bad, most of it good! But after being on the 3rd type of HRT since my surgery 6 weeks ago I am ready for something constant in that department. Good luck with what your doctor says and hopefully that will be the last of the bleeding forever!!! Definately a good!!!!

Hugs,
Aimee
