I noticed today that I had an Angel Badge next to my membership! Not sure who gave me this gift - but just wanted to say THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH to the person who did! It is such a special gift and it really made me smile!

Hi Cowwalker - I noticed you were from Indiana - what part?

In the west-central part, just outside of a town called Crawfordsville. Are you familiar with Indiana...I see where you are listed as VA.

I was born in Clarksville, Indiana and my Mom's family was in New Albany, Indiana. My Mom is actually back up there and living there now. I spent a lot of summers in New Albany as a kid with my Grandparents. I had other family that lived in Salem, Indiana as well. I know that there is another member on the site from Clarksville and heard that there was someone else from New Albany as well. It's just nice to hear from someone close to where I call "back home"!

Kewl! My 'bestest-friend'

Kewl! My 'bestest-friend' moved to Raleigh VA about 8 years ago. She and her dh lived in Harrisonburg VA for a couple of years before moving back home to Indiana then got an employment offer too good to turn down and moved to Raleigh.

They are in the sounthern part of Virginia. I am about 20 minutes from Washington, DC so I am in the very northern part of VA. Actually it's a lot like how Louisville, KY and New Albany, IN are seperated by a river between here and Maryland. I've been staying in Maryland with the boyfriend which is why my commute is so bad right now.

It is very nice to meet another Hoosier girl!

I got my Angel Badge today, also! And, the worst part of it is that I was cleaning up my inbox and deleted the Email by accident...so, I forgot who it was from! Thank you for posting this...mine came from Preciouspearl, and I am soooo happy this thread got started! I sent a message to "contact us" asking them to send me another message so I would know who to thank

Yep, when I went to see them while they were in Harrisonburg, I flew into DC. It was a long drive to their house from there!
