Help! I'm desperate!

I had Hyst. in 11/04 and was left with one ovary... although it stopped working soon after.
I feel like I'm losing my mind and have snapped my wonderful daughter's head off, had feelings of panic and anxiety, sleeplessness, extreme vaginal dryness (cracking/bleeding), NOOO libido... also, low energy.
I started out with an estrogen pill but had no success except with fewer night sweats (which wasnt my biggest problem anyway) and stopped that due to weight gain.
Next, my gyn put me on Estrace cream which helped with dryness but OH my the itching and burning were awful.
Now I'm using Vagifem and I'm not as dry but still itching, burning and have to use lubricant for intercourse (my poor husband ) only to still be raw afterwards.
I also use PHYTO PROLIEF (3 weeks now) and am getting nowhere!!
I feel like I'm nuts all the time and I'm so grumpy I feel guilty all the time.
HELP... if you have any tips

I'm sorry you're having such a difficult time. It does sound like many of your symptoms may be from a hormonal imbalance. You can read about the symptoms of imbalance here Too much/Too little

While Vagifem can help with dryness issues, it will not help with other symptoms, such as hot flashes, mood swings, etc. Vagifem very rarely enters the bloodstream, it is meant to stay in the vaginal tissues.

Hormones are not one size fits all. You do have many options, sometimes it can take trial and error to find the right one for you. You will also need to give any thing that you try some time to work as it can take your body some time to adjust.

Keeping a journal of your symptoms and anything that you're using; such as the pro relief, may be very helpful to you and your doctor.
