Update Uro Phone Call and Surgery Schedualed

This week has been nuts. I have been so busy I don't know if I am coming or going at the moment. But I did manage to get home on Wednesday in time to call the Uro's office like I was suppose to. He stated the CT Scan looked good and the kidney swelling has returned to normal size; however, why does it still ache and hurt at time.... more tests will have to be done I bet. He also stated he hadn't talked to the doctor who put in the stent yet, so still in the dark on that. He says he wants to take it out in 4 weeks, insert a dye into the ureter and take special xrays to see how things are going. If he sees a problem another stent will have to be put back in. He wants to be sure the ureter does not kink or pinch shut again. But we won't know for sure for a few days after it is removed. He also told me if it bothers me too much to call and he will remove it before the 4 weeks are up.

This morning his office called to schedual the surgery and xrays. His nurse told me he wants to do this in 4 weeks, but that day he is gone. After looking at the schedual for weeks 5 and 6, we decided to schedual it on week 3... So things are being set up for August 26th probably at 9 AM.

Hopefully this will be the end of problems for me.
