7 week bleeding?

Hi,
I am new here - had my surgery on June 9th and have a question for anyone who can help!
At 7 weeks my husband and I were intimate - I was cleared by the dr. at 4 weeks - but was covered in blood before I noticed. I went to the dr. the next day and he said it happens to some. Has anyone else ever heard of this? I am also now having a discharge?? Is any of this normal or should I be worried?? I am in germany and have been seen by a german dr. so communication is a little hard sometimes...any help would be great! Thank you!

7 week bleeding?

To some it's normal...you don't heal internally for months, and may still have stitches inside. And being intimate may have rubbed up against the vaginal cuff, as long as you're not in any pain, and have stopped bleeding, I'd give it a couple days before you do it again. I can't say anything about the discharge, i'm having that at 5 weeks..since i came home from the castle..

7 week bleeding?

HI Carey,
My dr. suggested I wait ten weeks and then said, "you know your body better then anyone. If you think there is a problem, there is a problem, come see me". When you saw your doctor, did he do an internal exam? If not, I would go back. I would also call about the discharge. It may be nothing more then the healing process. I had a yellow discharge for a while... not the kind of yellow you see with an infection but more like the kind you see in your urine when you have taken vitamins.
Please, take care of yourself. Get lots of and continue to drink a lot of water. These Checkpoints for post-op will help guide you.

By the way, to Hystersisters. I'm glad you found us!
