1/2 days are such a blessing

My doc gave me the green light last week to go back to work (still "not yet" on the sex thing though-sigh) with restrictions like - stay away from the stairs for awhile still and no lifting or pulling or pushing. The biggest favor he did me was to start me back at half-days for at least the next two weeks. When he told me half-days, I thought what the heck? but after today, which was my third day back on the job, I was plum tuckered out by noon.

I have a stitch or two that are being stubborn about healing and a rather large hematoma on the cuff that is slowly shrinking (and I mean slowly).

But, I posted this because I wanted to tell anyone out there who is getting geared back up for work to talk with their doc about a reduced-hour day for the first week or two. It's been such a lifesaver for me.

Glad to hear your return to work has gone well. I too will be going back to work half days for the first two weeks after my return. I think I will look forward to catching an afternoon nap after working on my feet but oh how I will dread going back full time. I think I should live and work in Mexico, I like siesta's!!!
