DH cold and Im hot

I am right there with ya! Lordy, I have the A/C going, a ceiling fan, and had my BF install a small window unit in my bathroom (blows straight into my bedroom)! We don't live together, but do stay together on weekends...so no matter which house we are in, I am freezing him too death! I don't know what to tell your DH...I guess he needs to sleep in his sweats! My BF piles the covers on, then throws them off...it is quite comical sometimes! And, of course, the house is cold in the morning, and I love it! He has to put on a robe and socks! I am hoping we will reach a happy medium one day. In the meantime, we are dealing with it and laughing alot!

Good luck, and maybe if he snuggles up to you he can enjoy the and warm up! My BF says I am an instant hot box, with lots of body heat to keep him warm!

DH cold and Im hot

I can definately relate. Even though I don't have the night sweats anymore (thanks to progesterone) I think my "internal thermostat" is higher now than before. I have always been hot natured, but now it's even worse.

DH and I joke about how we are going to wear out the chain on the ceiling fan. He turns it down.....I turn it up.....over and over again.

DH cold and Im hot

Oh, would I love those temps in the 50's! It's in the 90's here in GA, and my BF and I argue all the time about the temp. He is very cold-natured and I've always been a Red Hot Mama! Now it's even worse. I have the ac and a ceiling fan on every night and he wants to turn both of them off and sleep under heavy blankets. I don't know the answer about this one, but I sure would like to find one!
Stay cool! BonBon

DH cold and Im hot

Just from my own experience...and my poor hubby sleeping with ice cicles hanging from his nose, lol...yes this can be helped. Talk to your doc..and maybe even ask him about HRT and/or alternate treatments that might "fit" you better. Vivelle Dot (patch) is working WONDERS for hubby and I..no more swamp cooler, ceiling fan or window fan, and our power bill is going down, lol :-)

Do you know that tv commercial with the woman in the car, and her head is out the window to cool off...later her face is plastered to the window screen of her bedroom at 3 am...THAT WAS ME!!!! (well, not really "me"...but I did all that in real life lol)

DH cold and Im hot

DH and I love cold weather. (Why we live in Arizona, I don't know) In the winter time we do not use the heater. We just pile on comforters. In the summer time, we keep the thermostat low and then........we pile on the comforters! We have our ceiling fan on and 2 strategically placed fans aimed towards our bed. When you live in AZ, it is difficult to know if you are having hot flashes or if the AC is broken. If I'm having them.....then DH is having them too, lol.......

DH cold and Im hot

I have my ac set at 73 degrees with the house fan and then a small fan on low blowing on me. I wake up in the night with my hair soaked. I'll get hot then cold, but mostly hot. This started happening 2 months prior to my surgery. After surgery it continued and I did not have my ovaries removed! What is up with that?
