Tingling in upper thigh

Hi, since my partial hysterectomy almost 2 weeks ago (Friday) I've had a numbness on the side of my left thigh. Not total but sort of like novacaine...my doctor said that it sometimes happens. I was wondering if anyone else had experienced it and if and when it goes away. Also..just perched on the 2 week mark and I've had the gassiest day yet? I know that gas is good and part of the process but today has really been alot! Thanks for any input!

Tingling in upper thigh

I have problems with my left side also i had TAH/BSO. My Dr. said it was the nerves healing and to give it 3 months i don't know what is normal "recovery" she told me my left side ended up being the worse side. I am learning to deal with this, one way is by keeping as much off my left side as possible (ie. no cat on my lap or loving heads resting on leg or belly) and whenever i can no clothing rubing on me
I hope this helps you and hope your healing will be quickly

Tingling in upper thigh

I remember my thigh feeling like that after my hyst. It scared me at first. But I called my dr. and he told me the same thing that your dr. told you.
If I remember correctly, it stopped feeling tingly and/or numb at about 3-4 weeks post-op.

Tingling in upper thigh

I had LAVH/BSO Monday and notice that same feeling but in my right tigh. The same in the middle of my front left thigh but it's gone now. I was told it would go away shortly. It's not bothersom but still ya know it's there.

Tingling in upper thigh

The inner part of my left thigh was tingly/numb and would give me the sensation of feeling wet. This went on for close to 2 months post tvh/a-p repair...dont worry too much about it; its probably just the nerves rejuvenating.

stay well
