Tri-est and testosterone ~ timing

Hi sisters,

I just picked up my prescriptions for my Tri Est 2.5mg and Testosterone 2% and progesterone 25mg.

Pharmacist says 1mg of each once a day at night time.

I see many of you appy 2 -3 times per day, do you just break your 1 mg dose up?

Do you feel you get more even dosing spreading it throught the day?

TIA

Allison

Tri-est and testosterone ~ timing

Allison,
I currently use my creams once per day, but when I first started I had to break up the dose to keep an even level throughout the day. For me, the creams did have a build up effect.

When I was using more than once per day, I was splitting the dose, not using more than advised.

For now, I would do what your doctor and pharmacist have advised you to do. Give it some time and if you find you're having symptoms at the same time of day/night than you can discuss splitting the dose with your doctor and pharmacist.

I would suggest that you start keeping a journal of your symptoms. This may give a better idea if things are getting better or worse, and if your symptoms seem to occur at certain times of the day. The journal may help you to know if you need to begin splitting your dose.
