I'm a tummy sleeper too...I've just started (10 wks post-op) to ease into it using a bed pillow wedged between one of my sides and the bed, so I'm not really on my tummy just yet...kind of hard to explain. I have a LAVH though - that will probably make a difference.

I just started sleeping most of the way on my tummy this week and it's been 4 weeks for me. But I had complications with my incision reopening, so it may be a shorter time for you.

I'm 8 weeks post-op and just now starting to sleep on my side and a LITTLE tilted onto my tummy. I'm a tummy sleeper as well and it's been a LONG wait for this.

Today is my one week anniversary. I feel great but I can barely get into bed the right way. I've been sleeping on my side cuddling up to pillows.

My 1week too.

I have a hard time getting into bed also. My body pillow has been awseome for side sleeping. and i'll occasionally roll onto my back to give my side a rest. But im not much of a back sleeper, and im scared my cats will jump up onto my tummy!

I was sleeping on my tummy/left side, right knee bent by day 5. I had a pillow under my knee to help support some. I had to make sure that I was positioned just right otherwise it would hurt to adjust. I found that I slept a lot better laying like that than I did on the couch or in the recliner.

I am a tumy sleeper as well. All the stuff I have to look forward to as I have a couple of months to go until my castle visit. I close my bedroom door so my cat does not come into the bedroom. If you are on the couch I just push her away before she even jumps up . But our cat does not jump un the furnature unless she is called up.

I am 4 weeks tomorrow, no complications and I sleep just like citcat described.

But, I rolled onto my tummy in my sleep two nights ago, then lifted my head and shoulders to adjust. That woke me up with a !! I had major and soreness for the whole day yesterday, but I feel fine now. Take it easy, take your time, and try it when you are fully awake!

Now I keep my small tummy pillow up against my tummy when sleeping on my side to keep me from rolling in my sleep again.

Tasha, I am 3 weeks and last night I must have turned over on my tummy for a while. Well, I'm feeling it today. I am staying put on the sofa today. Yesterday was such a great day too!
