2 Week Check-Up went good

I had my two week checkup yesterday and all was great. I got permission to drive again. He didn't do a pelvic so all I know about is the abdominal incision and my range of motion. He wasn't concerned with the open wound and said it was healing good. As for the "knot" I have on my left side he said that was just coming together and thats why the "knot" was there. All in all it was a good appointment and I don't go back until Sept 27.

2 Week Check-Up went good

Thast great. We dont have 2wk chekcups here. I go back at 6wks. Although I did see my doc a few days ago to check for a UTI and for him to look at my incision. All is well. All the pain during urination is from internal swelly belly.

2 Week Check-Up went good

I had my two week check up yesterday and everything is going good here too. My doc did a pelvic exam, which hurt A LOT, but he said I am healing right on schedule! My incisions are healing fine too, w/ just a little trouble in my belly button. I was cleared back to work, but not yet to drive. I still have some pain and he wants to make sure my range of motion is better before I drive. I go back in 2 weeks again and should be cleared to drive then.

Shannon.
I'm glad that you are doing so well. Keep listening to you body, and rest when it says rest, and drink your fluids. It takes a long time to heal completely, dont rush it.
Sending you gentle healing hugs
