hormone imbalance

I am 38 ys old and because of my age my doctor is insisting on keeping me on a higer dosage of estrogen.
right on I am on Cenestin 1.25 mg I have only been on it for 4 days before I was on estratest full strength 1.25 and testrone 2.5 mg I could not get out of bed because of fatigue, headaches, nausea and I was starting to have depression. If any one has any suggestions I would really appriciate it. liz

hormone imbalance

Liz,
When was your surgery? Did you have your ovaries removed also?

My first suggestion for you Liz is to do some reading at www.hormonejungle.com , be sure and read all the pull down menus. There is alot of info there about hormones, symptoms of imbalance, necessary supplements you should be taking, etc.

JMHO I would look for a new doctor, one who is willing to listen and to help you find your hormone balance. All the symptoms you describe are signs of a hormonal imbalance. You can find the symptoms of imbalance here www.hormonejungle.com/toomuch.htm

Liz, you do not have to feel awful for the rest of your life. With the proper hormones you can find relief and feel better.
