Is it Endo in my intestines?

If this too much info, I apologize. I am scheduled for surgery on 9/26 for endo/adeno suspicions. I have had my period since Sat. nite. Today my bowel movement seemed covered in a dark red/brown jelly like substance. I think it was blood. If you have endo in the intestines, could it shed itself with your bowels during yoru period? My gyno is off on Tues. My GP said wait til after surgery to see and if endo does not present itself, he will then do a scope to see if IBS has progressed. Please help me if you know. I know this is a really gross thing to ask, but I am really confused!!

I don't have any answers to your questions, but I am sorry you are going through this scary stuff. Keep asking your doctor questions until you get some answers. I hope you have only good news after your hyst. Mine is just a short time after yours. May the Lord bless us both with good health!

As frustrating as it is, the surgery will give a better idea of what's going on. Hang in there with your questioning of your gp and gyn. Best wishes.
