Tear in perineum?

Ok this is strange. I had a vaginal exam on Thursday, afterwards I felt "uncomfortable". So I have been looking at my vagina and there is a tear at the beginning of perineum-closest to vagina. I have been roatating between Vit E and Neosporin. Its very tender like to wipe and things. Any input. If its no better on Monday I am gonna call the doc ---I still have ovaries.

Tear in perineum?

Did you have any other repairs? I had that happen. A stitch opened up and the Dr said to dab 1/2 water, 1/2 hydrogen peroxide on it three times a day. If it didn't clear up by my next visit he would fix it. It hurt like a paper cut, but in two weeks it did finally heal.

Ouch, and the exam aggrevated it maybe? Try sitz baths like after you gave birth.

Tear in perineum?

I had a place like that.I also had repair work. When my stitches were dissolving, the discharge from that was very irritating and made me so raw there I couldn't sit or walk for 3 days. Finally I used a squirt bottle of warm water there several times a day and it started healing up.Felt good too!
