home from hospital only to go back again for another week

Had a TAH had to stay in hospital for a week finally let me go home only to be sent back for another week aquired 3 different staf bugs at the hospital a week of drip needles and collapsing veins now I am home again but have to go to hospital every day to the wound clinic to have my dressing changed and doc says he will sew me up again on thusday had a huge set back in my healing process but I'm getting there anyone else go through any of this makes you feel a little behind the eight ball when your trying so hard to go forward

I'm not going through exactly what you are. I can't imagine how painful that must be. I hope you are on the path to recovery soon and the rest goes a lot smoother for you.

I'm dealing with the same degree of pain as before surgery, but not as much. The hyst took away 80% of the pain, but there is still 20% left that hurts as bad as before. My body is so worn out from the surgery and all the pain meds that I'm so sick to my stomach. Zofran is starting to loose it's effectiveness.

I wasn't allowed to take anything for pain only panadol something to do with blocking up the bowels any way live on panadol and antibiotics and heaps of rest at the moment we will win in the end won't we

YIKES! I hope that Panadol at least took the pain away.

Holy cow!! There's no way I'd have survived the first days post surgery with just Tylenol. You are one strong woman!!

I'm so sorry to hear you've had these setbacks.

Your only job now is to take it easy, follow your doc's orders, take it easy, drink your water, take your meds, take it easy, go on little walks, and have I mentioned TAKE IT EASY?
