What do you think..."Ovaries shut down or .. Infection???"
I'm going to the gyno today. I'm concerned about my ovaries not working.
Since I left the hospital I have had low grade fever. My incision looks good, I don't feel alot of pain pain down there. Pee is normal, no pain peein'.
But the fever is goes up and down and no meds help. The highest it has been since I have came home on one ocassion was 101.2 and soon as I walked out side it went down to 100.0 and then down to 99.6 and then 99.2 then up to 99.8.
It's jumping all over the place.
I'm tired of it.
My head feels woozy and achey. My skin is at this moment (*as I type) cool. but my "brain" is 99.6
I woke to it this morning being 100.0.
Anyone might think that's hormones or an infection.
I did call my gyno on Monday with a milky white discharge from my vagina,
.....and he said there was antibiodics giving to me during my stay in the hospital so I contracted a vaginal yeast infection. So the same day ( monday) he called me in a pill to take to clear that up. So that's been in me since Monday afternoon.
So I leave for the gyno office in 35minutes and I'm now getting nervous.
Anyone have any comments, possible relate, or thoughts.
Thanks so much!!!!

Hmmm not sure, I had a milky white discharge and it turned out to be a bacterial infection. You might have the same and that would explain the low grade temp. I doubt that it would be because the ovaries are shutting down.
Hope all goes well at the drs and let us know how you're doing.

I was keeping the "Kleenex" stock market high today!
I went to the my gyno's office and I knew that my gyno was out of town. So a replacement was there. He said it's my allergies?
Now, I been taking meds for those for yearssssss and never.. EVER.. in the years I have had problems with that.. has my temp rose. OKay.. so I am crying and nodding and saying " okay.. thinking are you listening to the other things I am saying?? The nurse who is my gyno's regular nurse almost looked concerned with it being more as well. She asked me to give her a urine sample. Now believe me I was crying so bad in the washroom. I couldn't even see the cup to hold it.
She was sweet to me, and I didn't act Crazy, I just teared up and whimpered inside. But, when I got into the washroom for the sample... I was just ballin' my eyes out and choking back the sobs not to make much noise.
DH drove me down by the ocean (it's only a half a mile from the dr office) I sobbed and cried uncontrolable.
I told him(DH)that I was sorry for acting so cold to him and the snappy behavior wasn't me.. it's not me.
He's been so good to me, and has always taken such lovly care of me. He's been the mom, chicken soup, kind of person I needed when I was a little girl.
Growing up... it never worked that way in my house. If you were hurt or sick, it was "Buck up and move on with it Tami". My mom worked double shifts and I grew up super fast.
But DH... is my angel of mercy and when I snap at him, a piece of me dies and I say sorry as soon as I can, but I know it isn't enough for me to say it.
Oops I rambled again!
I'm sorry ladies... I'll try to get back on track here.
So0oo after I cried.. went for breakfast to go and went back to the ocean to sit and eat.
Came home and got a call from the nice nurse from my gyno's office.
She said she called my "reg" gyno and explained I was in. He told her to call me and reasure me that what we are going to do now is get a temp over 101 and if it stays that way for a constant time.. then to call. Well that didn't make me feel alot better, but what did ... was she seemed concerned enough to call him and I was grateful for that!
Pretty scary when you feel alone and your dr is all you have to make you "medically" better.
I wanted honestly.. for them to do a blood test to see where my hormones are at. I would of paid "cash" for that today.
You all have been so good at listening to my ramble that I owe you all a "hystersis cookie "rasp choc"...
