One year ago yesterday

I had my surgery on 9/14/04. I was one of the fortunate ones. Not too many problems. I did have problems with hot flashes/night sweats still do although I tolerate them and almost always have a fan on. I was able to get rid of the hormone pills at 5 months and for the first two months was very tired. Now I'm doing great back to my old self and am very glad that I had the surgery. My advice to the ladys in waiting is rest; walk and take care of your self and make someone else pamper you.

That is very encouraging. I am one week and two days out and getting better everday. Will be glad when the pain is completely gone although it is much better than it was at first.
