post op 5 days and I look 6 months pregnant? am i okay?

alright, i read about swelly belly but is this it? went to dr to make sure bladder was working and that's fine...but from my boobs to pelvic bone I have a large tummy..and it's hard. I have been passing gas since day 2. i have passed many BM's for 2 days now. dr said it may be gas or fluid....is she blowing smoke somewhere? i have pain on the left side, my lower back real bad and the tummy feels tight. Please give me a heads up if I should call dr back or go in to her office...since it's a weekend. FYI..I had a LSH uterus only. minor complication with cervix, had to stich it shut. other than that all is good.

I had the TAH and my belly was that way too. It felt hard and swollen until now; it is starting to feel softer and not as swollen. Of course I had a belly BEFORE since I had 2 c-sections and have never been a skinny person, but it was more than I had before. I'm curious to see the response of others. Hang in there!
