Estroven

Anybody here ever used Estroven for relief from menopausal symptoms? It was recommended to me as am having joint pains, dizziness, etc brought on by instant menopause as I lost both ovaries as well. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Estroven

I actually had just started to use it before I was diagnosed with Ovarian Camcer last November as I was starting to experience perimenapausal symptoms. After my TAH/BSO/appecdectomy/omentectomy my doctor put me on premarin .625 mg.

When I used the Estroven I did get relief after about 2 weeks of use. I would definately consult with your doctor though before starting to take this. S/He may have reasons for you not to take it, just be on the safe side

Thanks.Am hearing so many conflicting things that am at a loss what to really use.Premarin is a no no because I am prone to breast lumps and the doctor says the HRT can trigger growth of these lumps.Meantime,my bones hurt especially my fingers and knees so something's gotta give

Are you on any hormones? Did you have your ovaries removed also or are they just not functioning? I would also like to hear from women who have tried Estroven. I had a TAH/BSO and have been on bioidenticals for a few months and they're working really pretty good, but my biggest complaint right now is joint aches and dizziness. If Estroven can help I'll try anything. Good luck and let me know how your doing.

Have you tried any other hormones besides the Premarin? I know alot of girls that can't take that, but are doing great with alternatives. I don't know how old you are, perhaps you were already through menopause. I just couldn't live with the hot flashes and sleepless nights, thats why I opted for the bioidentical hormones. SinceI'm only 45, I had a way to go before menopause. I hope you feel better and get some quick answers to the Estroven question.
