Colposcopy results not so good...

Hi Ladies,

Yes, it's me again. (Ya'll tired of me yet?)

I had a colposcopy on Monday due to two bad Pap tests and a positive HPV test. Well, I got the results today and I have moderate to severe dysplasia.

My doctor told me that I would need to have a surgical laser procedure under general anesthesia to get rid of the abnormal cells. I have a consult with him on October 13 to further discuss the treatment and to schedule the surgery.

Please be praying that everything will be okay and that the surgery will go smoothly. I'm scared, and I just really want my life to get back to normal! I've had enough bad stuff for one year!

Thanks and s,

Lisa

Lisa, I responded to you on the cancer board. I am SOOO sorry you have to go through this scare. Please know that I will continue to pray for you. I pray that our Lord protects you from cancer and guides the hands of the doctor for a successful surgery. I also pray that the Lord will give you wisdom and direction to be sure you will be using the best and most knowledgable doctor for the surgery. Hugs, Lisa!!!
This too shall pass.

Oh Lisa,

I'm sorry to hear that it sounds like you need surgery - again!

I've got moderate to severe dysplasia, too, and I was very scared with the diagnosis, although I'm coping better now. Sending you a big hug!

Lisa,

We never get tired of you, we love you! We will keep the prayers going as long as you need them.

Heavenly Father we are lifting up our sister Lisa up to you,she has just found out that she has dysplasia and will be needing surgery, go to her right now, scoop her up into your tender loving arms, cradle her in your bosom, the road has not been easy for Lisa, but we know you are holding her in your grip and will help her make it through, calm her nerves and fears, soothe and comfort her, give her strength, courage as she prepares for another surgery, when the time comes watch over her doing the surgery, guide her surgeon's hands and mind, let her surgery go smoothly and without complications, let this be the last surgery that she will need, shower her with your Healing medicine, give her a blest recovery, keep her body strong and healthy so that she can finally have a normal life, let your will be done, in your precious name, Amen.

s Lisa, May God's Grace shine upon you

Oh, (((Lisa))) my heart goes out to you right now.

Just keep the faith and put your life in God's hands... there's not much else you can do other than follow doc's instructions to the letter.

Wishing you all the best on your next appointment, and peace until then.
