Hormone related symptom?

I had my hysterectomy 3 years ago. I kept my ovaries. I still have that monthly cycle....obviously no bleeding, but I have all my other pms symptoms like acne, breast tenderness, pelvic pain, etc....Over the last few weeks, I have been getting these attacks of nausea. I feel so sick like I'm going to throw up, but I don't, and with in a couple minutes the nausea is gone. Sometimes I get all hot and sweaty and one time my heart started beating alot faster than normal(about 120 bpm.) I went to the doctor when that happened and they found nothing wrong with my heart. They thought I might have thyroid issues, but that test came out fine. I'm just wondering if these attacks of nausea could be hormone related. My husband thinks I'm going into menopause, but I'm only 34......I'm just hoping someone here has some ideas of what this might be.

Hormone related symptom?

I am sorry you are feeling bad and having nausea. Nausea is one of the most awful feelings that I dread getting. I did not ever get nauseated with my hot flashes and symptoms of menopuase, but it is possible, as everyone is different.

Here is a list of menopause symptoms, but this list is long and doesn't mean you will even experience more than two of them.

If you keep having nausea, I would still be looking for answers, to be sure it is not something else other than menopause. You might also have your gyn check your hormones and see what he thinks as well.

Yes, even though you are only 34, sometimes the ovaries can lose their steam after a hyst, and might cause some symptoms . The highs and lows of your hormones as your ovaries try to figure out what to do, can make you feel this. When I had my ovaries before my hyst I had symptoms of PMS, and I was in the process of starting menopause.

I have felt better since my hyst by changing to healthier diet, taking vitamins and calcium, and exercising at least 3x a week.

I have a book that I like called, "Menopause Without Medicine" by Linda Ojeda,Ph.D. you can get it at the site store, or check your local bookstore.

I hope you feel better soon.
