Abdominal muscle pain anyone?

Ugh. I've been doing great up until today when I started feeling like I'd done about 40 sit-ups. I am having TONS of pain in my abdomen and it almost feels like a stretching muscle pain. Has anyone else experienced this? I don't want to call my GYN (even though his nurse has been a great help) unless I think it's totally out of the ordinary. I would think I would have felt this pain before. I'm almost 3 weeks out and this, after the major gas pains, has put me totally over the top! Help!!!!!!

Abdominal muscle pain anyone?

Well, let me just assure you that it's normal to feel some pain like that--after all, we've had things pulled apart and cut and then stitched. Last night I was feeling a lot of tenderness in the entire abdominal/pelvic area, like I'd done sit ups or something, too. You can see that it's been over 4 months since my surgery. I would say it's just the healing process.

Abdominal muscle pain anyone?

I still have the gas pains too, really get bad every night about 3. Do take gas x for it and it does help. Have found I need to stay away from certian food like mexican because that tears me up. Knock on wood the last threee days I have been able to go to the bathroom without help andthat is real nice! I have experienced NO cramping at all after surgery! The pain meds really slowed everyhting down ****ed if you do ****ed if you dont there. I have no regrets about the surgery but feel for those who it has affected.

Abdominal muscle pain anyone?

I'm 6 months post op and I get muscle pain in my abdomen whenever I've been doing a lot of lifting. Those muscles feel pretty weak and after a night at work when I've done a lot of lifting, when I get home from work they ache. I've been thinking about doing some exercises to build them back up. Nothing too strenous, maybe some mini crunches. I don't want to risk getting a hernia. I've been getting a lot of lower back pain too, which I've learned in the past is from weak abdoninal muscles.
