God has blessed me!!!!!

I am 3 days post op and I am doing rather well. I still have some pain but it is bearable with meds. It really hurts to cough and laugh. I'm still very stiff but I feel great.

I'm glad to see you are doing well.

Are your bowels working normaly? Mine are still trying to get intact. Good luck to you.

God has blessed me!!!!!

That's great!! I too feel very blessed to have had a good recovery and overall experience. I'm glad that I did this surgery in the fall, because I've really enjoyed seeing the colors change from my living room window rather than from a stuffy office!

Best wishes to you on the remainder of your recovery!

God has blessed me!!!!!

Good for you! I'm 10 days post-op, and feeling very well. I even walked a little outside today, and looked at the beautiful colors.
Pain meds are great...I ran out last night, so am only using tylenol now...I think that will be ok. Coughing and laughing still hurts a bit for me too, but not as much.
May you have continued success in your healing. LL

God has blessed me!!!!!

Yes, God has blessed me too. I went to the movies today. I'm off all antibiotics, and don't need anything for the pain. Thank you, Lord!

God has blessed me!!!!!

Thanks for the Hug. My bowels are trying to get back to normal. In the Hospital, when my bowel did move, it was all liquid nothing solid. It felt kind of weird. I did it one or twice since I've been home. But now I just feel the rumbling going on

God has blessed me!!!!!

Hi alj,

Your bowels will eventually get back to normal too. I am 11 days post-op, and I would say I was having pain each time I went until somewhere between day 9 and 10, just recently. That was the last thing for me to feel "back to normal". You're doing great!
